Photograph caption dated March 21, 1964 reads, "Public speaking just seems to come naturally to Taft High School senior Barbara Faust, whose father is a clergyman and mother is a former college speech teacher. Barbara won the annual oratorical contest sponsored by the West Valley Lions clubs."
