Description
Ray Bradbury discusses his book, "From the Dust Returned" He begins by explaining the plot of the book and how many of his books and plays begin as short stories. He goes on to discuss his writing process and his belief that writer's block is the mind telling the writer that the story should not be written and that he or she should move on to something else. Also in this interview he discusses his background in theater, his fascination with Egypt, and how his childhood experiences served as inspiration for his work. Bradbury goes on to discuss his love of Halloween and his fascination with space travel. He expresses his support of libraries and the space program along with his frustration with the lack of funding for both. In the second half of the interview Bradbury discusses his book, "A Chapbook for Burnt-Out Priests, Rabbis, & Ministers." He ends the interview with memories of his early career.
