“Shrine of the late Maharaja Ranbir Singh, father of present Maharaja and son of the famous Gulab Singh. This shrine is inside the precinct…” External view of shrine devoted to Ranbir Singh. The shrine has several tall spires and an arched entranceway. Gulab Singh was the founder and first Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir. Ranbir Singh extended his father’s territory during his reign.
