Photograph of an aerial view of flooding in Placentia, ca.1930. The forceful water flows down the center of the city tossing the small structures into a pile of debris on the left. Tree tops can be seen above the waters surface, but sidewalks and roads are swallowed beneath. Water flows through the rows of the surround crops and what appears to be a church sinks into the mud in the foreground on the left.
