A stairway can be seen to its right while a brick wall is visible in the foreground, in front of the house. A sidewalk and a concrete street cover the extreme foreground. Additional houses are visible in the background. Front of postcard reads: "Old Block House, oldest house in Ohio, now cased in museum, Marietta, Ohio".
