Photograph article dated December 31, 1963 partially reads, "An argument that Glendale police said started over alleged use of narcotics ended Monday with a 21-year-old Marine shot to death and the arrest on suspicion of murder of two 19-year-old youths, one of them the dead man's brother. Dead is Jon C. Whitcomb, who was assigned to the Marine Corps base at Twentynine Palms. Held on suspicion of murder are Whitcomb's brother, Tim, 1021 Sonora Ave., Glendale, where the shooting took place, and William Daniells, 19, 6022 Fulton Ave., Van Nuys."
