Dead is Jon C. Whitcomb, who was assigned to the Marine Corps base at Twentynine Palms. Held on suspicion of murder are Whitcomb's brother, Tim, 1021 Sonora Ave., Glendale, where the shooting took place, and William Daniells, 19, 6022 Fulton Ave., Van Nuys."
