Description
Photograph of the Petronilo Rios ranch house about a half of a mile south of Mission San Miguel, San Luis Obispo County, California, 1910. Viewed from the gable end of the two-story adobe with tiled roof and a covered balcony along the front. Stucco has fallen off the end revealing the adobe brick construction beneath. Two large trees grow in front of the adobe near a dirt road running by the house. The structure was built in 1835 by Camolio Rios for his father, Petronilo (Petronelo?) and was later known as the Holden Ranch on El Camino Real.
