Description: Pacific Electric Railway streetcar no. 5126 on the Van Nuys line seen travelling over a railroad trestle in North Hollywood, in the San Fernando Valley. The sign on the front of the car says "Los Angeles."
"Van Nuys line Aug. 1952 - Pacific Electric 5126 No. Hollywood"--text, handwritten in pencil on housing. Title and date devised by cataloger based on notes on housing. The Pacific Electric Railway system of electric streetcars and rail was also known as the Red Car system.
