Description
A team of Los Angeles Railway "Yellow Cars" are shown here in a Vernon railyard prior to being taken to a scrap heap. One street car, decorated with the following words, "Goodbye Forever Sweethearts and Pals," (see image 00068765 for another view) clearly indicates the end of Yellow Car service in Southern California. Photo dated: May 9, 1963.
