Description: View 1 (2014-4367). TNT Powder Box Branch (see story on other views) no. 1. Oct. 1922 -- view 2 (2009-2155). "TNT box, filled with books, nailed to tree. Cover is off in this view, and rests at base of tree. Cover made from top of old stove. 6,500' above sea level in Salmon Mountains. Books are for use of forest rangers, etc." -- handwritten on verso.
Also have negative: no. 7102 (5x4 in.) for 2009-2155.
Finley Camp located along north fork of the Salmon River four miles east-northeast of Sawyers Bar.
