Image of an advertisement for the Chap-Book December 1895 issue featuring three men standing holding posters in the cold; the center man clearly has a red chapped face, torn pants, and holes in his shoes.
Item originally owned by illustrator Curtis Wager-Smith (1870-1950). "C.F. Bragdon"--text, artist's signature on stone, bottom center of image. "Designed by Claude F. Bragdon. Printed by Stone & Kimball Chicago."--text, bottom left of image.
