View 1 (2011-1986). Capt. Charles Lindberg. Photo by Bunnell Photo Shop, San Diego, Cal. Shows Lindbergh in front of Spirit of St. Louis, holding sign "Keep out of the water". Handwritten on back is details of flight to Paris -- view 2 (2011-1990). Spirit of St. Louis, Oct. -- view 3 (2011-2094). San Diego celebration, Sept. 1927. Shows podium, Lindbergh seated next to Will Rogers -- view 4 (2011-2095). Shows city stadium (later Balboa Stadium), crowds in stands and on field. Lindbergh toured country upon return to States from Paris. Landed in San Diego, Sept. 21, 1927 where city organized parade and official reception. "Lindy" in stadium formed by school girls in light clothing.
