Description
Water-related activities were blessed with hot weather over most of Superior California yesterday, including the fourth annual Truckee River Downhill Raft Race from Tahoe City to the River Ranch Resort three miles down stream. A total of 117 devices able to carry at least three persons each splashed down the river. About 750 persons congregated at the end of the race for refreshments and trophy presentations, with the winning crew completing the course in 57 1/2 minutes.
