Description
The new U.C.L.A. Westwood campus, about 1930. View is looking from the bridge, towards the road which now connects the main campus to the administration buildings. Buildings shown from left to right: Physics Building, Powell Library, Royce Hall and Haines Hall. The Physics Building and Royce Hall were both built in 1928-29 in a northern Italian Romanesque revival style, designed by Allison and Allison, Architects. Powell Library was built in 1927-29 and Haines Hall was built in 1928. Both buildings have a northern Italian Romanesque revival style, designed by architect George W. Kelham.
