Photograph caption dated January 28, 1959 reads, "Warhead, shown at left displaying speed during workout at Arcadia oval, and Hillsdale, right with regular rider, Tommy Barrow, are two big threats in Saturday's $180,000 Santa Anita Maturity, world's richest race for 4-year-olds. Two horses share highweight ratings at 123 pounds. Field of 10 starters are likely for this mile and a quarter race. Others considered probable starters are Jewel's Reward, Martins Rullah, Swaps Kin, Alibi Blue, The Shoe and Kings Salute." See image 00159877 for additional photo in this series.
