Description
"Reiseminde oktbr. 1892. (På veien fra Tamatave)" ("Travelling memory October 1892. ) A travel from Tamatave)"). There are a total of five carrying chairs, three for women and two for men.Each fianjana needed 8 carriers, 4 to carry and 4 to take over. Luggage were carried by thers, so you need quite many people to move around. This was the traditional way of moving araound for all people who could afford to pay for it.
