Sitting: Sigrid Rainivelo and standing: Estera Radafy. They travelled to Norway in 1878 and they both went to handicraft and industrial school for girls in Oslo, Norway. Sigrid Rainivelo was a teacher at Antsahamanitra until she followed the Borchgrevinks to Norway where she stayed helping them for many years. Estera Radafy married Radafy, a 14 grades officer. Antsahamanitra Girls' School was established in 1872 by Johanna Borchgrevink 1836-1924, and led by her until 1912. Hundreds of Malagasy girls were taken care of and given education during this long period.
