Notes made after the flight of Friendship 7 refer to tremendous lightning and thunder, the "Bird listing at top," and the need to "run for it." A second note refers to a fellow at U-Tot-Em saying - almost asking - re MA-4, "Maybe now the Russians won't be here so soon."
