Description
Train tracks from Sausalito enter downtown Mill Valley via Miller Avenue. The Mill Valley station was shared by the North Shore Railroad (formerly North Pacific Coast) and the Mill Valley & Mt. Tamalpais Scenic Railway. The three rails in foreground are narrow gauge for North Shore freight trains, standard gauge for electric passenger trains from Sausalito. Mountain trains were standard gauge and used tracks to the far right.
