Photograph caption dated March 6, 1950 reads, "Red Cross fundraising program in Valley this year is co-ordinated by this group of workers stationed at central headquarters, 14520 Albers St., Van Nuys. Emergency services are also provided by this group. The Valley, covering more than half the entire area of Los Angeles, requires concentrated efforts of the highly skilled workers. Left to right are Fred Wilson, chairman of the Valley fund-raising program; Olyvia Williams, Esther Howie, Cherie Thomas, Unabelle Ensign, Mrs. J. C. Snell, Nellie Long, Margaret Ewing, Jane Berkson and Marshall Roop."
