William A. Clark, Jr.'s final resting place, the beautiful mausoleum he built for his family in Hollywood Cemetery. The mausoleum, built at a cost of $500,000, is shown set on an island in the midst of a lily pond. In this already are interred his two wives and his only son, William A. Clark III. Mr. Clark was noted as the founder and patron of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. For 15 years he was the sole patron and is said to have given $3,000,000 to provide fine music for this city.
