Photograph caption dated February 4, 1948 reads, "Four early American shelf clocks swing through time at Pete Strong's cafe in North Hollywood. Pretty Pauline Harper helps the boss tend them. Second and fourth from left are original Seth Thomas clocks, 75 years old." Twenty-three vintage clocks in Pete and Henrietta Strong's personal collection were displayed at their cafe, the Twin Burger, at Vineland Avenue and Magnolia Boulevard.
