Photograph article dated March 13, 1965 partially reads, "Requirements for class are strict - and it takes five years of work to be eligible to attend. But, the class for teen-age girls, which meets every Saturday morning from September to May, has one of the lowest absentee rates in the Valley. 'It's kind of the icing on the cake for the girls,' said Mrs. James LeSage of Encino, patroness chairman for the Modelettes of the National Charity League of the San Fernando Valley. The Modelettes are 11th and 12th grade Ticktockers, who are training in the Saturday morning class for their modeling debut at the Golden Slipper Promenade in May." Photograph caption reads, "Class members, shown with Mrs. James LeSage, Encino, Modelettes patroness chairman, back, and Mrs. Beardsley, are, from left, Nancy Patterson, Encino; Regan Hunt, Granada Hills; Lauren Kean, North Hollywood; Patti Berlin, North Hollywood; Paula Griffard, Sherman Oaks; Linda Scott, Encino, and Jane Hyson, North Hollywood."; See images #00125180 through #00125184 for all photos in this series.
