Photograph was edited for publication purposes The caption refers to the 1958 fires in the Corral Canyon and Malibu Lake area of Malibu which burned over 18,000 acres, caused the loss of more than 30 homes, including the home of actor Lew Ayres, and threatened the homes of Jackie Coogan, Ronald Reagan and Bob Hope. This fire came just two years after another fire had devastated the area in December, 1956. Photograph caption dated December 4, 1958 reads, "Mrs. Ena Allison and Mrs. Carol Kastner share load of cherished possessions as they push through high grass leaving home behind in path of 20,000 acre Malibu fire.
