Annotation translation: "Our congregational elder Matjan Setia ('the faithful tiger') in Loeboek Hidjoe with his wife standing beside him on their wedding day in the year 1934. He has his sun-helmet in his hand. His brother-in-law, the current headman of the village, and the Over-Chief of Mantobi, Mantir Anoem, is wearing the Dajak headgear, the 'trstar'."
Annotation: "Unser Gemeindeältester Matjan Setia ("der treue Tiger") in Loeboek Hidjoe mit seiner Frau neben ihm an seinem Hochzeitstag im Jahre 1934 (mit Tropenhelm in der Hand). Sein Schwager, der jetzt noch amtierende Dorfhäuptling & Oberhäuptling des Mantobi, Mantir Anoem, trägt die dajaksche Kopfbedeckung, dei trstar."
