Description
Image of an elevation view of the side of a steam locomotive with a 4-4-0 wheel arrangement, a tender with the partial label "on City," a sweeping brush attached to the front of the locomotive in place of the pilot; titled cylinder and rods, an outdoor landscape painted on a panel on the cab, the label "Iron City" on the boiler, and an image of a flying woman on the sandbox; ornate top border.
Probable date based on year locomotive was constructed as referenced in Alexander, Edwin P. Iron Horses: American Locomotives 1829-1900, page 94.
