Description
Photograph of Rancho San Pedro crops destroyed during a flood on the Los Angeles River, south of Dominguez Hill, 1914. Sodden, broken stalks that appear to have been corn can be seen sticking out of a layer of silt to the left, while more water is visible trickling over sediment to the right. The river is visible in the far distance.
