Photograph caption dated February 6, 1958 reads "Sheldon Pollack, right, architect for new $250,000 post office annex at El Cajon street and San Fernando road, Sylmar, shows artist's drawing of facility to Walter L. Leong, left and Buford Graves, contractors. Slated for completion in May, annex will be central distribution area for mail received at main post office in San Fernando and will contain garage area."
