Description
Photograph article dated May 15, 1963 partially reads, "Fifty-two thousand Valley residents will have a different county supervisor following a lightning decision by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to realign their districts for the first time in 10 years... Under the new plan, portions of the Valley east of the San Diego Freeway and between the Ventura-Hollywood Freeways and Mulholland Dr. will be transferred from Warren Dorn's 5th District to Ernest E. Debs' 3rd District. Dorn, board chairman, strongly defended the swift passage of the new boundaries only hours after maps were made public at the Hall of Administration."
