Description
This circa 1890 postcard depicts the Sacramento County Courthouse, to the right, and the Hall of Records, to the left, at the northwest corner of Seventh and I streets. Built in 1854, the courthouse was done in a Greco-Roman Ionic style. The building was razed in 1909 and a new courthouse built on the same spot.
