Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated February 28, 1963 partially reads, "In most museums, the visitor is little more than a bystander. But at the California Museum of Science and Industry, things are different. The visitor is a participant. His role is active. And it's fun. As more than one million visitors in 1962 can attest. Museum spokesmen say the trend in museums these days is to have more imaginative displays, displays that enable the visitor to participate in some way. So all kinds of exhibits with this concept in mind have been placed at the museum, located at 700 State Dr. in Exposition Park, Los Angeles."
