Photograph of British Destroyer in the harbor at Wellington, New Zealand, ca.1940-1950. To the right, a large British Destroyer is seen moving along the ocean water. Several portholes can be seen lining the rectangular hull of the ship. At its center, two short smokestacks stand erect. Several large lifeboats are visible nearby. To the left and right, two massive masts lie on either side of the ship. A solitary flag is visible on the rightmost mast. On the right half of the ship, a small compartment can be seen above the deck. Several people are also scattered throughout the deck. A group of men can be seen on the far left end of the ship. To the far left of the ship, part of another vessel can be seen. In the background, two buildings are visible near the water's edge, while large mountains loom beyond.
