The advertisement consists of a photograph of a boardwalk in Venice with the words "Balloon Route Trolley Trip $1.00" in the upper right corner. The photograph shows a wide sidewalk at center crowded with people. A large, two-story building with towers on its corners is visible at right, and more buildings can be seen at left. The building at right has a flat roof with an intricately carved guard rail around the perimeter. In the foreground at right is a large patch of sand. Legible signs include, from left to right: "Venice, "Plunge", "Hotel Oceanic", and "Lorel's Café".
