Description
The photo caption in the Sacramento Bee, January 28, 1969, states: "This black bear cub, an orphan of the recent North State storms, has taken refuge atop a row of garbage cans at a residence at Clear Creek, Siskiyou County. Besides finding a relatively dry perch, the cub figures his new environment might yield a few tasty (to him) morsels."
