Description: Image of a woman sitting with a young girl and teaching her how to sew on a sewing machine in an advertisement for spool cotton; table draped in cloth; a small wicker table in front of the sewing machine holds fabric, a box of Clark's Our New Thread, and a pincushion; a pair of cats plays with a spool of thread on a cushion nearby; slogan on sewing machine reads, "Clark's O.N.T. will work on any machine."
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history; Lindner, Eddy & Claus were located on Walker Street from 1885-1886. "Lith. Lindner, Eddy & Clauss-, 88-90 Walker Street. N.Y."--text, bottom center margin. Metal edging on top and bottom of print to equip it for hanging.
