Ducommon Company hardware store is shown at center, fronted by a paved sidewalk. Its decorative columns border plate glass windows that reflect the buildings opposite the store. Four men stand in the store's arched entryway, facing the camera. The lower edge of the upper floor of the building is visible above the store's large sign a sign in a window of the upper floor reads "Williams McKinley".
