Photograph caption dated May 22, 1958 reads, "Lovely younger members of socially prominent families of Los Angeles Pan American circles will be candidates on Saturday evening for the title of 'Queen' of the Rose of Castile Ball. Among them will be Estelita Marquez of Toluca Lake, seated, and her charming companions Virginia Durant, Beverly Brown and Diana Petrovich, standing from left. Miss Marquez' a student at Marymount, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arturo E. Marquez, a Colomban [sic] senator and United Nations representative. The ball in Beverly Hilton grand ballroom is sponsored by the Pan American Colony and its junior auxiliary, La Juventud, to aid the Misericorde Sisters and their hospital work."
