Photograph caption dated April 20, 1959 reads, "Founder-director John Ellis leads Burbank Civic Light Opera Chorus through one of numbers to be presented at group's home concert scheduled next Friday at Burbank High School Auditorium. Curtain time will be 8:15 p.m. for program including chorus, solos, duets and groups singing numbers from 'Vagabond King' to 'South Pacific' to 'Oklahoma.' Admission is free."
