The article partially reads, "The growing nationwide numbers game has hit Valley post offices. Like telephone companies, banks, credit card distributors and the Social Security program, Valley post offices have assigned a number to each patron. The postal ZIP code numbers--zone classifications designed to speed mail distribution--have been issued for more than a month and are meeting with varying degrees of acceptance among Valley residents."
