Description: This March 5, 1931, photograph of the west side of the dome of the California State Capitol building was taken from the grounds of the Capitol Extension buildings at 10th Street and Capitol Avenue. Several period cars are parked on Tenth Street while pedestrians go about their day. In the direct foreground is a California Fan Palm.
