Bust-length portrait.
Born Virginia Shearer in Winchester, Va., in 1843; came to California via Panama in 1855 with family. Married Henry Sewall Bradley in 1858 moving to Nevada City. In 1893, moved to San Francisco. Appointed to State Board of Lady Managers for the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Died in 1935.
