Description
Photograph of a flooded river bank, showing buildings at left, 1938. Broken pieces of brick and concrete spill into the water at center while a broken, wire fence and an electrical pole lies over it all. Lightly-colored buildings and still-standing electrical poles stand at the newly-carved land's edge at left. The river flows at right with its opposite bank apparently in tact. Mountains stand in the right background.
