Noted radiocarbon dating pioneer Willard F. Libby (L) stands with so-called "father of the hydrogen bomb" Edward Teller (center) and Arthur Spitzer (R), sponsor of the Spitzer Chair of Energy Management at Pepperdine University. Libby and Teller were Distinguished Visiting Professors at Pepperdine. This photo captures the men at a scientific conference held at Pepperdine University in 1975.
