Across the table stands a woman looking towards the viewer. A large umbrella, which serves as a roof, stands in the center of the table along with other dining objects. Next to the man, an additional man is visible while a tent can be seen standing behind him. In the left, a second picnic table is visible and people can be observed eating and sitting around it. In the foreground, an aligned pile of rocks is observable which seems to surround the first picnic table. In the left background, a small lantern can be seen hanging from a tree. A parked automobile is visible in the background and the backdrop is filled with thick vegetation.
