Title supplied by cataloger.
The Bella Union at 314 N. Main St. later became the St. Charles Hotel. The Bella Union became the Clarenden in 1873 and the St. Charles in 1875. To the left is the original home of Farmers and Merchants Bank, later merged into Security Pacific Bank. Standing on the balcony is Mrs. Margarita Bandina Winston, wife of Dr. J.B. Winston.
