Description
Note: "Königstochter Tabea Manuore [sic!]. (Wuhrmann, A., 1917. Beschreibung zu den Lichtbildern aus Bamum. E-30-0,6). - Name gemäss Wuhrmann A., 1917: Königstochter Tabea Manuore, bzw. Maruore.
Note translation: The King s daughter Tabea Manuore. The chief s daughter Tabea Manuore is very sensitive. Her whole way of approaching you, indeed her whole apprearance, has nothing of the bluntness [or cruditiy] you expect from Africans. She has been married for 3 years since March 1914 and is now the mother of a quite charming little son, who is, in his turn, the pride of his father and mother. (A. Wuhrmann, 1917, Commentaries to Slides from Bamum, E-30-0,6. K 350).
