Description
The former Getty Building (built in 1962) at 3810 Wilshire is undergoing a total renovation for conversion to a 23-story luxury condo with 238 units and eight penthouses. Unlike the Solair, which has no one-bedroom units, Mercury Rising will have studios as small as 740 square feet and two-bedrooms as large as 1500 sq ft. The penthouses will range from 1200 to 3000 square feet. Prices range from $400,000 to $1 million+. The developer is Forest City Residential Development, which paid $75 million in February 2005 for the 343,000-square-foot building that is located on the southwest corner of Wilshire and Western Avenue.
