Photograph of a view of downtown Los Angeles looking west of Sixth Street from Hill Street, [s.d.]. Pershing Square is in the foreground at center. It is a large grassy are with many trees and a sidewalk running through the middle. Large buildings can be seen on two sides of the park, including the Pacific Mutual Life building at right. This building has a large clock on the corner at center. Another clock tower can be seen in the distance at left. Early-model automobiles are parked along the edges of the streets. Legible signs include, from left to right: "Taits", "Wilson's Dancing Studio", "Better tells it all", "The Owl Drug Co.", "Time to insure", and "Pacific Mutual Life".
