Description
This 1968 postcard provides an aerial view of the Sacramento State College campus, approximately 20 years after its founding. Sequoia Hall is visible at upper left near the river. It had recently been constructed in 1966 and was the school's largest building before the library. Also visible are the American River, newly-built Guy West Bridge, and city water treatment plant. A patchwork of suburban housing and open land stretches off to the south. Folsom Boulevard follows a row of large trees at upper right.
