Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on April 7, 1969 states: "This is Folsom Lake today as seen from the Granite Bay launching area. The area in the foreground is normally under water at this time of the year. In the background are the lowest boat launching ramps in the Granite Bay system. Water outflow was increased in anticipation of the spring now runoff."
